Yearbook of American & Canadian Churches This announcement about the latest version of the Yearbook also includes the text of the preface and a section of denominational web links.

Faith Communities Today (FACT) - The project site of the Cooperative Congregations Study Project. This project is designed both to survey multiple religious groups with a common core questionnaire and to create stronger congregations of all faiths through  education of clergy and lay members.  The project site contains a significant amount of research information about denominational life. Read the research reports produced by the individual denominations participating in the FACT project.

Perspectives on Faith: A Web Site for Inquiry
about Religion
 - Nice overview site about religion in the U.S. with summary information and links on denominations and religious groups organized into clusters of traditions. 

Organizing Religious Work - This description of the project outlines research on the denominational, judicatory, and congregational levels of eight focal religious groups.  In addition data were collected by random surveys, interviews and observations of congregations within seven areas of the U.S. 

Nondenominational Congregations Study - Compiled by Scott Thumma, this page offers information from both the Faith Communities Today project and the Organizing Religious Work Project.
