CONTEMPORARY JEWRY
The official journal of the Association for the Social Scientific Study of Jewry, began publishing in 1974 as Jewish Sociology and Social Research , taking its present name in 1976. It has appeared in various formats but is now an annual devoted to the multidisciplinary study of Jewry, publishing theoretical and empirical works of interest to social scientists studying Jews and Judaism in Israel, North America, and elsewhere. It typically includes research articles, book reviews, a bibliography of recent works in the social scientific study of Jewry, and the Marshall Sklare Distinguished Scholar address given at the association's annual meeting.
